When I was a little girl, I’d beg and plead with my Mom so we could go into the Sanrio store. If she gave in, I’d ogle at all their cute stickers, pens, notepads and various knick-knacks and proceed to beg some more for her to buy me something. Usually, I walked out with gum, the sort that runs out of flavor in ten seconds.
Even though this was over 20 years ago (yes, I just dated myself), I’m pretty confident that little girls all over the world still love and adore Hello Kitty. Thus, when Coquette was asked to plan a birthday party for a special little girl who’s turning three, we thought this would be the perfect theme. We were so excited that we immediately started brain-storming for ideas on how to have an adorable, but not cheesy themed birthday celebration!
We created this inspiration board to organize our ideas. (Can you tell the first thing we thought about was dessert?) The decor will be DIY, including custom tablecloths and runners and a close friend of Coquette will be making all of the delicious treats.

Check back for updates on the planning process – but we won’t be giving it all away! We want there to be some surprises for the birthday gal!

Super Cute!!!!!!!!!! I want a Hello Kitty Birthday now too….. at what point in life can you revert back to age 3 to have a Hello Kitty Bday Party? Can it be 32?
Ladies, it’s NEVER too late to have a Hello Kitty party! I’ll be making the lollipops out of chocolate, but for an adult version, maybe we could try adding in some Kahlua.
How adorable! Every little (and big) girl’s dream come true. Will definitely be in touch with Coquettish for upcoming birthday parties.
