I can’t wait to attend the Designs Floral Workshop, taught by Karen from Huckleberry Karen Designs. The workshop is this Saturday afternoon and will be a fun-filled and informative 3 hours. She’ll be teaching us how to process and take care of flowers, choose the right flowers to suit our style as well as estimate how long it will take to complete the product. This workshop will focus on making bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages.
In my usual geek-ish self, I ran out to Home Depot and bought some necessities — thorn stripper, clippers and gardening gloves with a cute paisley print.
