In early July, Coquette Events was contacted to plan and coordinate a fabulous 60th birthday bash. The couples request: high quality food and beverages and plenty of over the top entertainment. The birthday boy celebrated the start of a new decade with his family and closest friends. We used the couple’s wrap around backyard as the venue for this vibrant cocktail party for 70.
The birthday boy commissioned two of his favorite chefs to serve their specialties to his guests. Scott the Sushi Man rolled up sushi and sliced fresh sashimi as appetizers. Meanwhile, our kebab man, Majid, was setting up shop for the main courses – grilled steak, chicken, lamb, and veggies. Let’s not forget the buffet of side dishes which included yogurt dips, tomato & cucumber salad, and lavash for dipping. Colorful fruit and pastry displays rounded off the menu, which was served with freshly brewed Persian tea served in glasses.
Nejad led a band of musicians who entertained the crowd all night long. Two belly dancers, snake charmers and a fire dancer rounded out the entertainment. The guests danced the night away and the party continued long after the sun set.
